The Windows Firewall User Interface

The Windows Firewall user interface is simple to use, but don't be deceived by the straightforward exterior. There's a lot of power under the hood, and there are extensive customization options available in Windows Firewall's user interface.


To access Windows Firewall, select Start, choose the Control Panel, and select the Security Center. At the bottom of the Windows Security Center window, select the Windows Firewall option. The Windows Firewall configuration options will appear and display the Windows Firewall General options.
