NeDi NeDi

NeDi is a network management front-end that uses Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) as the primary network discovery mechanism. The management console includes graphical displays showing Cisco device configurations, real-time spanning tree information, network maps, and much more.

RANCID

RANCID is a "Really Awesome New Cisco confIg Differ" developed to maintain CVS controlled copies of router configs. Rancid monitors a router's (or device's) configuration, including software and hardware (cards, serial numbers, etc), using CVS.
